If you are paying using a currency which is different from the currency of your card, your card issuer will convert your transaction to the currency of your card, plus a certain margin which is unknown to you at point of purchase. The original currency of your transaction and the converted amount normally appears in your credit card billing statement.
For your convenience, we are offering you a choice of paying in either the original currency or the currency of your payment card. This facility is known as Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) and the exchange rate is based on Reuters exchange rate plus an average margin of six to eight percent which may be more competitive than the rate offered by your card issuer. The exchange rate to be used for payment will be shown to you before you make the final choice of payment currency. If you choose the option of paying in your card currency then the final payment amount shown in this website will be the exact amount that will appear in your credit card statement. You need not worry about any extra hidden charges after you confirm your payment online.
When a DCC offer is made, it applies to the current payment only and may not be available for later payments whether relating to the same or other bookings. The cardholder's choice of payment currency is final. After a payment has been completed in the currency of your choice, the currency of the payment cannot be changed. This DCC service is offered to you by Cebu Pacific, and is a separate and alternative service to the currency conversion services provided by Visa and Mastercard.
